(Or it could be? I don't know, but it surely doesn't look like it!) I am rather confident my PS3 is not damaged because every game I have played since I bought the console works perfectly. I am installing the game on the HDD with my USB thumb drive, I open the game through Multiman (BD mirror option toggled). I've downloaded both of them multiple times and nothing works, at best the game will say "Sony Computer Entertainment Presents" and then it freezes on a black screen. I downloaded two different folders of the game, European release, but none of them work (despite being EXACTLY the same size, from two different sources).
It's not available on PSN, so this makes my life a little more difficult. However, I'm having some trouble with GOW3. So far I've played some games from start to finish with no problem, every of them being installed through PKG. I slapped HEN 3.0.1 (HFW 4.86) on it because I can't downgrade it low enough to install CFW.
I bought a PS3 Slim 160GB back in April in perfect conditions.
